Three new Nardi colours have just landed at OFI, all from the same earth-tone direction Nardi has been moving toward across its contract and residential ranges. Agave Green on the Net range. Mattone on Trill. Corda on the Spritz table, Poggio footstool and Folio armchair. All three are available for pre-order now.

Colour is the part of outdoor furniture that dates fastest in the wrong material. Bright trend colours look great in a brochure and tired by year three. Earth tones do the opposite, especially when they are baked into UV-stabilised polypropylene rather than painted on top. Agave Green on the Net range

Agave Green is a muted, slightly desaturated sage. It pulls directly from the agave plant: dusty, blue-leaning, a little Mediterranean. It works on courtyards, poolside settings, and any garden where the planting is already silver-green or eucalyptus-toned. It is not a statement colour. It is a colour that lets the planting do the talking.

The Nardi Net range is one of the most practical chair lines Nardi makes. Stackable, fully resin, no metal frame to corrode, and light enough to rearrange one-handed. In Agave Green, it shifts from a working-chair feel to something more considered. Strong fit for coastal homes, courtyards, and apartment balconies where the chair lives outside year-round.

Mattone on the Trill range

Mattone is the Italian word for brick. The colour matches the name: a warm brick-red leaning toward terracotta, with enough brown in it to read as natural rather than loud. It sits well next to clay pots, rendered walls, timber decks, and anything with a Mediterranean or Spanish-style influence.

The Nardi Trill range is a slimmer, more design-led chair than the Net. The frame is fibreglass-reinforced resin and the seat has a rope-inspired weave detail that softens the chair visually without adding any maintenance load. In Mattone, the warm tone draws the weave detail out and pairs naturally with timber tables, ceramic surfaces, or a darker outdoor dining setting.

Corda on Spritz, Poggio and Folio

Corda is the softest of the three: a pale rope-tone beige, somewhere between linen and sand. Nardi describes it as drawn from the natural fibres used in contract furnishing, and it shows. Corda reads warm, low-contrast, and intentional. It is the colour that disappears into a coastal palette and lets the architecture or planting carry the visual weight.

Corda has been rolled out across three of Nardi's most useful lounge and accent pieces: the Folio armchair, the Poggio footstool, and the Spritz round table. Why these colours hold up in Australian conditions

Nardi makes its chairs in Italy from fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene with UV stabilisers baked into the resin. The colour is not a coating or a paint. It is mixed through the material before the chair is moulded. That matters in Australia for one reason: nothing strips colour off outdoor furniture faster than full UV exposure in a Sydney, Perth or Brisbane summer. Painted finishes fade in patches. Powder coatings chalk and dull. Resin colour, by comparison, fades evenly and slowly, often holding its tone five-plus years into daily outdoor use.
