1. What is a Nardi outdoor dining setting?
   A Nardi dining setting is a table and chairs sold together as one purchase, matched by the factory rather than assembled by guesswork. It arrives as a single order in colours that have been confirmed to work together, which removes the risk of ordering a table and chairs separately and finding the shades do not sit well side by side. Settings run from 3 piece balcony sets right through to 11 piece dining settings on an extendable table.
2. What do the piece counts mean?
   The number counts every item, including the table. A 3 piece setting is one table and two chairs. A 5 piece is one table and four chairs. A 7 piece is a table and six chairs, a 9 piece a table and eight, and an 11 piece a table and ten. The simplest way to shop is to work out how many people need to sit down, add one for the table, and look for that number.
3. Which tables are used in the settings?
   The small settings use the compact tables. Step, Spritz and ClipX appear in the 3 piece balcony sets, and Clip and Cube in the 5 piece settings. The larger settings are built on extendable tables, principally Rio and Tevere, which is what lets a 7 piece grow into an 11 piece when guests arrive. Piave also appears in 5, 7 and 9 piece settings, and its bar height version in a 5 piece with stools.
4. Which chairs can I choose from?
   Most Nardi chairs appear in settings somewhere, and the same table is often offered with several. Net, Net Relax, Bit, Bora, Costa, Trill, Doga, Cassia and Palma all turn up depending on the table. Because of that, choosing a setting is really two decisions: the table size that fits the space, and the chair you would be happy to buy on its own. Do not let the chair be decided by the table by accident.
5. Is a setting better value than buying separately?
   Generally yes. A matched setting is normally better value than the same table and chairs bought as individual lines, and it removes the colour matching risk. The reason to buy separately is when you want something the standard setting does not offer, such as a different chair count, or a mix with armchairs at the ends of the table and armless chairs down the sides.
