Choosing Between the Nardi Alloro and Libeccio Tables

The Alloro and Libeccio ranges solve the same problem — a table that can grow for extra guests — at two different scales. The Libeccio extends to a maximum 160cm, making it a practical option for a smaller courtyard or balcony dining setting that occasionally needs to seat one or two extra people. The Alloro range goes further, with a 140-210cm model for mid-size households and a 210-280cm model built for entertaining, extending to seat significantly more guests when opened to its full length.

Both ranges are moulded from Nardi's resin, which means no timber oiling, no metal rust spots, and a surface that wipes clean with mild soap and water. The extension mechanism is built into the tabletop itself rather than requiring a separate leaf to store, so extending the table for a larger gathering doesn't mean finding somewhere to keep a spare panel between uses.

Finish and colour options are shared across the range — Anthracite, Tortora and White — with the larger 210-280cm Alloro also available in a White/Tortora two-tone finish for a more distinctive look. Since all three core colours run across both ranges, matching a Nardi table to existing Nardi chairs or a Nardi bar setting in the same finish is straightforward.

Sizing to your space is the main practical consideration: measure your dining area at the table's full extension, not just its closed length, and allow standard chair clearance of at least 60-70cm on each side for guests to sit and move comfortably. For durability, the full Nardi range is CATAS tested to European EN 581 and EN 1728 standards and EN 15373 Level 3 — the contract grade used for commercial and hospitality seating and tables — so these tables are built to handle regular outdoor use, not just occasional weekend entertaining.
