1. What sizes does the Nardi Rio table range come in?
   The Rio range comes in two core sizes: Rio 140, which extends from 140cm to 210cm, and Rio 210, which extends from 210cm to 280cm (both figures confirmed on the individual product listings). Each size is available with a resin tabletop and frame, or an aluminium slatted tabletop and frame (the "ALU" models) with a timber-slat look. A fixed-length, non-extending version is also available — the Rio Alu Fix 210 — for the 210cm size only.
2. How does the extension mechanism work?
   The tabletop slides open to reveal an additional centre leaf, extending the 140cm table to 210cm or the 210cm table to 280cm. There's no separate leaf to store, lift or fit — you slide the two halves apart and the extension is already built in. The legs are positioned at the ends of the table rather than under the centre, so they don't interfere with seating once it's extended.
3. What's the difference between the resin and aluminium (ALU) versions?
   These are two different tabletop materials, not just a frame swap. The standard Rio has a resin tabletop and frame with a timber-slat look and straight-edge profile — lighter to move, and fully immune to corrosion since there's no metal involved. The ALU version has an aluminium slatted tabletop and frame, also styled with a timber-slat look but with more of a textured, architectural finish. Both are UV-resistant and built for permanent outdoor use; the choice comes down to which look and weight you prefer.
4. Is there a non-extending option if I don't need the extra length?
   Yes, but only in the larger size — the Rio Alu Fix 210 is a fixed-length version of the 210cm aluminium table without the sliding extension mechanism. There is currently no fixed-length version of the 140cm table; if you want the smaller footprint without the extension function, the Rio 140 is only available as an extending table.
5. What colours are available, and what chairs go with the Rio table?
   The Rio range comes in Anthracite, Tortora and White across both sizes and both tabletop materials. Anthracite and White give a cleaner, contemporary look; Tortora is a warmer neutral. 6. Is the Nardi Rio table suitable for permanent outdoor and coastal use, and how do I look after it?
   Yes — that's what it's built for. The resin version is UV-resistant polypropylene that resists atmospheric pollutants and won't corrode in coastal salt air; the aluminium version is similarly built for permanent outdoor exposure. Day to day, a wipe with a damp cloth is enough for either version — no oiling or sealing required. A cover isn't necessary for weather protection, but it's a reasonable extra step if you want to keep the table looking newer for longer.
