Outdoor Plastic Tables

Our outdoor plastic table range is built around Nardi's resin dining tables — Rio, Libeccio, Alloro, Clip X, Cube, Clip, Maestrale and Step — spanning fixed square and round tables through to extendable designs that grow from around 140cm up to 280cm. Rio and Alloro are the largest extendable options, suited to entertaining bigger groups, while Cube and Clip come in compact square sizes for smaller settings.

Most ranges are available in White, Tortora and Anthracite, with the Clip range also offered in Agave Green, so matching colours across a full outdoor dining setting is usually straightforward.

Outdoor Plastic Tables - FAQs

  1. Why choose outdoor plastic tables over timber or metal?
Resin (plastic) outdoor tables need far less upkeep than timber, which needs periodic oiling, or metal, which can rust in coastal or humid conditions. They're also lighter to move and, in this range, CATAS-tested to European EN 581 and EN 15373 Level 3 standards for outdoor stability and contract-grade durability.
  2. What type of plastic is used for these outdoor tables?
Nardi's tables use a UV-stabilised technopolymer resin, engineered specifically for sustained outdoor exposure rather than a standard household plastic. It resists fading, cracking and warping better than basic plastic furniture.
  3. How do I clean outdoor plastic tables?
A wipe-down with mild soap and water is generally all that's needed. Avoid abrasive scourers on the resin surface, and rinse off suncream, food or drink spills promptly to avoid staining lighter colours like White.
  4. Can outdoor plastic tables withstand exposure to the elements?
Yes — every range in this category is CATAS-tested to European EN 581 standards for outdoor stability, and the resin won't rust, rot or need re-oiling the way timber or untreated metal would.
  5. Are outdoor plastic tables environmentally friendly?
Nardi's resin tables are built for a long service life outdoors, which reduces replacement frequency compared with materials that degrade faster in harsh conditions. We don't have supplier-verified recycled-content figures to quote for specific ranges, so we'd avoid overstating this beyond durability and longevity.
  6. Do outdoor plastic tables come in different sizes and styles?
Yes — eight ranges spanning compact 70-80cm square tables (Cube, Clip) up to large 210-280cm extendable dining tables (Rio, Alloro), plus round options in the Clip X and Step ranges, in colours including White, Tortora, Anthracite and Agave Green.
  7. Are outdoor plastic tables easy to assemble?
Most fixed-size resin tables arrive fully or largely assembled. Extendable tables like Rio and Alloro have a built-in sliding extension mechanism that operates without tools, though the table itself is heavier to unpack and position than the smaller fixed-size ranges.

Choosing an Outdoor Plastic Table

Sizing is the main decision across this range. The Rio and Alloro tables extend from roughly 140-210cm up to 210-280cm, making them the better choice if you regularly need extra seating for guests but don't want a permanently oversized table day-to-day — both use a sliding leaf mechanism that stores within the table itself rather than needing a separate leaf to store elsewhere. The Libeccio is a mid-size extendable option for smaller households wanting some flexibility without the larger Rio or Alloro footprint.

For fixed-size settings, Cube and Clip come in compact square formats (70cm and 80cm) suited to balconies, small courtyards or cafes with tight table spacing, while the Clip X and Step ranges add a round table option and slightly different leg styles. The Maestrale range is a stackable dining table, useful for venues that need to clear tables away between services rather than leave them set up permanently.

All ranges in this category are CATAS-tested to European EN 581 (outdoor stability) and EN 15373 Level 3 (contract-grade, non-domestic use) standards — a more internationally recognised benchmark than Australia's AFRDI standard — so the full range suits commercial and hospitality use as well as home dining, without needing separate certification for each table. The resin construction across all eight ranges is low-maintenance: no oiling, no rust, and a wipe-down with soap and water is generally all that's needed to keep tables looking their best.

For hospitality buyers furnishing multiple tables, the stackable Maestrale range and the compact Cube/Clip square tables are worth comparing side by side if floor space between services is limited, since they store more efficiently than the larger extendable Rio and Alloro tables. Colour consistency across an order is also easier to manage with resin than with natural materials, since each Nardi colourway is moulded rather than dyed or stained, so White, Tortora and Anthracite tables ordered together will match precisely.
