The Alba range is moulded outdoor lounge furniture in UV resistant polypropylene, sold as complete settings rather than as individual pieces. Buying the setting is the point: every component comes from the same moulding in the same finish, so nothing has to be matched by eye across two orders.
Two settings, and the difference is the bench.
The Alba 3 Piece Outdoor Resin Balcony Setting is 2 Alba Relax Chairs with arms and a 45cm square coffee table. It is sized for a balcony or a small courtyard, where a full lounge would leave no room to walk past it.
The Alba 4 Piece Outdoor Resin Lounge Setting is 1 Alba Bench Seat, 2 Alba Relax Chairs with arms and a 90 x 50cm coffee table. The bench is what turns it from a conversation for two into seating for four or five, and the larger table is proportioned to sit in front of it.
Why polypropylene rather than aluminium or timber. The colour runs through the material instead of sitting on top of it, so a scratch does not show a different colour underneath and there is nothing to rust, oil or re.stain. It hoses down, it is light enough to move off a deck ahead of a storm, and in full Australian sun a through coloured resin fades far more slowly than a coated finish chalks.
Measure before you order the 4 piece. A bench, two armchairs and a 90cm table need a genuine lounge footprint with walking room around it. If the space is tight, the 3 piece is not a compromise, it is the correct setting for the area.
