Teak Outdoor Lounges
Our teak outdoor lounge range centres on the Halston 4-piece set, pairing a genuine teak coffee table with woven rope-finish sofa seating, available in White or Charcoal. Teak is one of the few timbers dense and naturally oil-rich enough to handle permanent outdoor exposure without warping, and pairing it with a rope-finish frame rather than an all-timber build keeps the set lighter to move and reposition than a solid timber lounge would be.
Because this is a genuine timber piece, some seasonal care is worth budgeting for — an annual teak oil application keeps the timber's colour even and prevents it silvering unevenly, particularly on the table's sun-facing side. The rope seating itself is far lower maintenance and simply needs a wipe-down.

Why use teak for outdoor furniture?
Teak is naturally dense and oil rich, which lets it handle permanent outdoor exposure without warping. That is why the coffee table, the piece taking the most sun and weather in this set, is built from it.

Does teak need chemical treatment to survive outdoors?
No. Teak resists rot, insects and moisture on its own, without any chemical sealant. Chemical treatment is not required for the wood to handle continued outdoor use.

Apply teak oil annually, particularly to the coffee table's sun exposed surfaces, if you want to keep the timber's original honey brown tone rather than let it weather naturally.

How do I clean the rope sofa seating?
A wipe down with mild soap and water handles everyday dirt. The rope finish does not need the oiling regime that the teak table benefits from.

Yes. Building the sofa modules around rope rather than solid timber keeps them considerably lighter, which matters if you reposition the set seasonally or need to move it to clean underneath.
