Nardi Alfa & Omega Range
Alfa and Omega are Nardi's two outdoor sun loungers, both made in Italy from UV stabilised resin with a fabric sling. They cover the same job in two different profiles, so the choice is about how you sit rather than about quality.
Both are available in three finishes: White, Tortora and Anthracite Trama. You can buy a single lounger, or a matched set of two or set of four, which is how most poolside areas are actually furnished.
Two complete settings are stocked: the Omega 3 piece sun lounge setting, and a 3 piece setting pairing two Alfa loungers with a Rodi side table.
The detail that makes these worth owning long term is the replacement sling. Both the Alfa and the Omega have slings available separately, so when the fabric eventually goes, which it will after enough summers of direct sun, you replace the sling rather than the lounger. Very little outdoor furniture at this level is serviceable that way.
A matching parasol sunshade is available for the Alfa and Omega in Anthracite Trama and Tortora Trama, and clips to the lounger rather than needing a separate base, which is the practical answer on a paved poolside where you cannot sink an umbrella.
Resin frames are light enough to reposition through the day as the sun moves, and stack for storage over winter.

What is the difference between the Nardi Alfa and the Nardi Omega sun lounger?
Armrests. The Alfa has them and the Omega does not. Everything else is shared: both are reclining sun loungers designed for Nardi by Raffaello Galiotto, with a UV treated polypropylene resin frame and a breathable synthetic sling. The Omega's armless profile tucks in closer and stacks tighter, so it suits a row of loungers along a pool. The Alfa is more comfortable to get in and out of.

How far do they recline, and can they be moved easily?
The backrest sets to four positions, from sitting up to read through to lying back flat. Two wheels are built into the frame, so you tilt the lounger and roll it to follow the shade rather than lifting it. That matters more than it sounds: a lounger that is awkward to move usually ends up staying in the wrong spot all summer.

What colours and sling fabrics are available?
Frames come in White, Tortora and Anthracite Trama. The slings are offered in White, Tortora, Grey and Dark Blue, in combinations such as White frame with a Tortora sling or White frame with a Dark Blue sling. The frame is mass coloured, so the colour runs through the resin rather than being sprayed on and will not chip off.

Can I buy them in pairs or sets?
Yes. Both the Alfa and the Omega are sold individually and in sets of two and four, which is how most poolsides are actually furnished. There is also an Omega three piece sun lounge setting, and an Alfa three piece setting made up of two Alfa loungers and a Rodi side table, so you get the loungers and somewhere to put a drink in one order.

Can the sling be replaced?
Yes, and it is the reason these loungers last. The breathable synthetic sling is quick drying and fully replaceable, and replacement slings are stocked in White, Tortora, Grey, Anthracite and Dark Blue. A tired or marked cover after several seasons is a simple swap rather than a new lounger, and it also lets you change the colour.

What is the clip on parasol?
It is a small sun shade made for the Alfa, Omega, Eden and Tropico loungers. It clips to the head of the lounger to shade your face and upper body, so there is no separate parasol base taking up space and no umbrella to reposition. The frame is UV treated polypropylene and the shade is a breathable synthetic fabric, and it folds away by hand. It comes with a White frame and a White, Blue or Tortora shade.

Can they stay outside, and how do they store?
They are built for permanent poolside use and will stay out year round, and they wipe clean. The resin frame is UV treated and mass coloured, so it will not rust, rot or fade. When you do want them away, they stack up to fourteen high, which makes storing a poolside worth of loungers over winter or between guests genuinely practical.
