1. What sun lounger designs does Nardi make?
   Nardi makes five sun lounger designs and they fall into two groups. Alfa and Omega are sling loungers, stretching a breathable synthetic fabric over a UV treated resin frame. Eden, Tropico and Atlantico are moulded shell loungers, formed as a single piece of resin. All five are built for permanent outdoor use, and all five are sold singly, in sets and in 3 piece settings that add a side table between two loungers.
2. What is the difference between a sling and a shell lounger?
   A sling lounger stretches fabric over a frame. It dries very quickly after a swim, does not get hot in the sun the way a solid surface does, and it is comfortable without needing a cushion. The fabric is the part that eventually wears. A moulded shell lounger has no fabric in its structure at all, so there is nothing to replace, but it wants a cushion to be genuinely comfortable for a long stretch.
3. Which loungers recline and which stack?
   Alfa and Omega recline through four positions, from sitting upright to lying flat, and both carry two built in wheels so a lounger tilts and rolls to follow the shade rather than being lifted. The shell loungers stack, which is the reason venues choose them. Where fifty loungers have to come off a deck every night, stacking matters considerably more than recline positions do, so the two groups suit quite different operations.
4. Can the slings be replaced?
   On Alfa and Omega, yes. The breathable synthetic sling is fully replaceable, which means a tired lounger is a sling swap rather than a new lounger, and replacement slings for both models are stocked alongside them. For a hotel, resort or caravan park that changes the economics of a pool deck considerably, because the frames stay in service and only the fabric is renewed. The moulded shell loungers have no sling to replace.
5. What shade and side tables are available?
   Parasols are available in White and Anthracite Trama to match the lounger frames. Several models are also sold as 3 piece sun lounge settings, which pair two loungers with a side table between them, using either the Spritz or the Pop table depending on the setting. The side table matters more on a lounger than on a chair, because there is nowhere else to put a drink, a book or a phone.
