1. What are outdoor sofas made from?

2. Can I leave an outdoor sofa outside all year in Australia?
   The frames are made to live outside year-round. Cushions last longest if you protect them from constant sun and heavy rain — use a cover or store cushions during long wet spells. Sunbrella and premium outdoor fabrics cope best with sustained exposure.
3. Are the cushions waterproof?
   Outdoor cushions are water-resistant and quick-drying rather than fully waterproof. They shed light rain and dry quickly, but in prolonged wet weather it's best to cover the sofa or bring the cushions under shelter.
4. How do I clean and care for an outdoor sofa?
   Wipe the frame with warm, mildly soapy water and brush or vacuum loose debris from the cushions, spot-cleaning fabric with mild detergent. In coastal areas, rinse salt residue off the frame occasionally to protect the finish. Follow the manufacturer's care guide for the fabric.
5. Which fabric is best for full sun or poolside?
   Sunbrella is the benchmark for fade and mould resistance and is worth it for full-sun, coastal and poolside positions. For shaded or covered areas, standard outdoor fabrics are fine and more economical.
6. What size or configuration should I choose?
   Modular sofas suit larger decks and open areas because you can rearrange and add pieces; corner sofas make the most of a corner or defined zone; 2 and 3 seater sofas fit balconies and courtyards. Measure your space and leave room to walk around the setting.
