Outdoor Furniture & Outdoor Settings Australia
Outdoor furniture has to survive weather, UV and being left out, and that rules out a lot of what looks good indoors. This range covers dining tables and chairs, bar tables and stools, sun lounges, lounge settings and ceramic topped tables, from Nardi, Bahza and Billy Fresh. Material is the first decision. Resin handles sun and salt and cleans easily. Aluminium stays light and does not rust. Ceramic and sintered stone tops resist heat and scratching but are heavier to move. Table heights here run standard dining through to bar. Every listing carries its dimensions, material and whether the piece is rated for full exposure or covered use.

Outdoor Furniture - FAQs

-
What outdoor furniture materials last longest in Australia?
Powder coated aluminium and UV stabilised resin. Aluminium does not rust and holds its finish under UV, and resin holds colour through summer and can be hosed rather than wiped.
-
Can this furniture stay outside all year?
Most of it can. Aluminium and resin need nothing beyond washing. Cushions, rope and fabric last considerably longer if they come under cover through the worst of winter.
-
What is PE wicker and how does it differ from natural cane?
PE wicker is a synthetic weave, usually over an aluminium frame. Unlike natural cane it does not absorb water, split in the sun or need re-oiling.
-
How do I clean outdoor furniture?
Warm water and a mild detergent on a soft cloth. Brush grit out of a weave before washing rather than after. Rinse rope rather than scrubbing it. Avoid abrasive pads and pressure washers.
-
Is this furniture suitable near the coast or a pool?
Yes. Aluminium and resin are unaffected by salt and chlorine. The fixings fail first near salt air, so rinse with fresh water after windy weather.
-
How much space should I leave around an outdoor table?
Allow roughly 900mm from the table edge to a wall, planter or railing so a chair can be pushed back and someone can pass behind it.
-
Should I buy an extendable table?
If your normal number is smaller than your occasional number, yes. It holds a smaller footprint day to day and opens for guests without a second table coming out of storage.
-
Are cushions included with the furniture?
On most ranges cushions are listed separately, so you can add comfort where it is wanted, leave it off where the furniture must stay low maintenance, and replace them later.
-
Does the furniture stack for winter storage?
Many resin and aluminium chairs stack, and stack height is stated on the individual product listings. Check that figure against the space you have before ordering.
-
Do you sell to both homes and businesses?
Yes. These ranges suit a home courtyard, balcony or garden, and the same materials are specified for commercial outdoor areas. Listings state load ratings where they apply.
-
What warranty applies to outdoor furniture?
Warranty varies by range and is stated on each product listing, commonly with different terms for the frame and for the weave or fabric. Check the product page before ordering.
