Sunbrella is solution dyed, which means the colour goes into the fibre before it is woven rather than being printed on the surface. That is why it holds its colour in full Australian sun where a printed outdoor fabric fades, and it is why the fabric carries a 5 year warranty of its own.

Let the upholstery dry fully after rain rather than covering it damp, and in coastal areas rinse the frame more often to clear salt spray.
