Eclipse V4 3m Square Cantilever Umbrella, Silver Frame
A side post cantilever umbrella that puts a clean 9m² of shade exactly where you need it, with no centre pole in the way. The mast sits to one side, so the space underneath stays completely open for a dining setting, a daybed or the edge of a pool.
The Eclipse V4 is Instant Shade's heavy duty cantilever, designed in Australia and carrying Australian Design Application No. 202418675. The frame is extruded marine grade anodised aluminium in a silver finish, and at 44 kg folded it is built for genuinely exposed positions rather than sheltered courtyards.
Everything you touch is engineered to feel effortless. A silent cranking system opens the canopy, an easy glide slider car takes the effort out of raising it, the infinity tilt system angles the canopy anywhere you like rather than in fixed steps, and the integrated rotation handle spins the whole canopy through 360 degrees and locks it.

Canopy colours. Three standard colours held in stock: Natural (a soft off white that keeps things bright and neutral), Slate (a deep grey green that sits back against planting and stone) and Smoked Tweed (a dark charcoal weave with a subtle texture). Further colours are available made to order in solution dyed acrylic canvas for an additional charge, with a matching protective cover included. Fabric colours can vary slightly from a printed or on screen swatch.
Warranty. The frame and mechanics are covered by a 5 year warranty. The canopy carries a 5 year warranty against fading in the three standard colours, extended to 10 years on made to order colours. The canopy is rated to UV Standard 801 at UPF80, blocking 98.75% of UV, and is water repellent and washable at 40 degrees without harsh chemicals.
Wind guidance. The wind rating depends entirely on how the umbrella is installed: 65 km/h when fixed in place, or 30 km/h when used on the 900 freestanding wheeled base. Wind speeds are a guide only and wind damage is not covered by warranty, so close and secure the canopy whenever conditions turn.
Installation. A stainless steel spigot is included for fixing directly to concrete. An in ground fitting, a 315mm bolt down base plate for timber decking, and the 900 freestanding base with integrated wheels are all available if you would rather not fix into the slab. A minimum 300mm clearance from a wall is recommended, and pool installations have specific bonding requirements worth checking before you start.

Care & Cleaning
Close and strap the canopy when the umbrella is not in use, and fold the canopy neatly so the fabric does not rub in the same place every time. Rinse the canopy with clean water and a soft brush, and wash at 40 degrees if it needs more than a rinse. Avoid harsh chemicals and never use bleach. Wipe the anodised frame with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Keep the winder mechanism clean and dry, and store the umbrella closed and covered over winter or in extended bad weather.
Please note: packed for delivery this umbrella measures 295 x 51 x 30 cm and weighs 60 kg with the spigot, so please allow for a two person lift on arrival.
