Pebl Sunset Armchair, 4.75kg of aluminium that stacks
The Sunset Armchair is all aluminium. There is no rope, no timber and no cushion to bring in, which is the point: it lives outside all year, hoses off, and stacks in the corner when you need the space back. At 4.75kg you can carry two at a time.
Sunset is designed by Robin Delaere for Pebl, a Belgian studio whose work is built around craftsmanship and quiet, timeless shapes.
The seat and back are one moulded shell, made in a mould Pebl own rather than bought in, so the curve runs continuously from the backrest through to the seat and follows your back instead of meeting it at an angle. Clear footcaps on the legs keep it quiet when it is pushed back on tiles or pavers.

Three colourways. Charcoal is a deep, cool grey that reads architectural against render and stone. Mocha is a warm brown that sits comfortably with timber decking and sandstone. Green is a soft, earthy green that settles into planting rather than standing out from it.

Care & Cleaning
Rinse with fresh water and wipe with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid solvents, bleach and abrasive pads, which will dull the powder coating. Why is the seat and back perforated?
The Sunset shell is punched aluminium that curves between the seat and the backrest, following the shape of your body, so it is comfortable without a cushion. The perforations stop water pooling, so the chair drains and dries quickly after rain instead of holding puddles.
Does it stack?
Yes. The Sunset chairs, armchairs and bar stools all stack, and the bistro tables fold and stack horizontally. That is what makes Sunset practical for a venue that needs to clear a terrace quickly.
How do I look after it?
Wipe the aluminium down with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, then rinse with fresh water. Avoid solvents, bleach and abrasive pads, which damage the powder coated finish. The perforations mean water drains rather than pools, so it dries quickly.
