Pebl Tolo Armchair, the dining chair of the Tolo collection
The Tolo Armchair is built to sit at the table all year. A full aluminium frame carries a hand woven 6mm olefin rope seat and back, and at 59cm across with arms it gives you room to settle in over a long lunch rather than perch through one.
Tolo is designed by Robin Delaere for Pebl, a Belgian studio whose work is built around craftsmanship and quiet, timeless shapes.
The frame is Tiger powder coated aluminium, so it will not rust, and the whole chair is light enough to lift with one hand. It also stacks, which is the practical part: a table setting of six or eight packs into a corner of the shed over winter instead of taking up the deck.

Two colourways. Charcoal pairs a deep charcoal frame with black rope, a cooler and more architectural look. Mocha pairs a warm brown frame with latte coloured rope, which reads warmer against timber decking and sandstone.

Care & Cleaning
Rinse the rope and frame with fresh water and wipe with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid solvents, bleach and abrasive pads, which will dull the powder coating. Bring cushions inside, or store them in a dry place, when the furniture is not in use for long periods. In coastal areas rinse the frame more often to clear salt spray. What is it made from?
An aluminium frame with Tiger powder coating, hand woven in 6mm olefin rope. Aluminium does not rust and the powder coating protects the finish against UV and salt air.
Is a cover available?
Yes. Purpose made covers are available for the Tolo sofas, the lounge chair and the nine piece dining set, in 300D polyester with a PU coating. Fit a cover only once the furniture is clean and dry.
