Pebl Tolo Side Table, 45cm square in ceramic and aluminium
The Tolo Side Table is the small piece that makes the lounge chairs work. At 45cm square and 46cm high it sits within reach of a seated person, holds a drink and a book without wobbling, and takes up almost no floor space on a balcony.
Tolo is designed by Robin Delaere for Pebl, a Belgian studio whose work is built around craftsmanship and quiet, timeless shapes.
The top is ceramic, so wet glasses and sunscreen wipe straight off, and the frame is Tiger powder coated aluminium, so it will not rust. At 8.1kg you can pick it up with one hand and move it to wherever people have ended up sitting.

Care & Cleaning
Wipe the ceramic top with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Rinse the aluminium frame with fresh water and dry it with a soft cloth. Avoid solvents, bleach and abrasive pads, which will dull the powder coating. In coastal areas rinse the frame more often to clear salt spray. Lift rather than drag the table when moving it, so grit is not pulled across the paving under the feet.

What are the table tops made from?
Ceramic, available in Sand B and Graphite. Ceramic handles heat, stains and UV without sealing or oiling, so it needs nothing beyond a wipe down.
