Australian-made Outdoor Timber Picnic Table, 1800mm
Six seats and a table in one piece of furniture. The 1800mm model carries a 700mm wide top with bench seats fixed either side, so it lands as a single setting and stays square through years of being shifted around to follow the shade. At 1800mm long it takes three adults a side without anyone knocking elbows, and it still fits a courtyard, a verandah, a school quadrangle or a park shelter.
It is built here in Australia from treated timber chosen to hold up outdoors, and the surfaces are left ready to finish however you want them. Leave the timber bare and it will weather to a soft grey; seal or stain it and you hold the colour and add years to the finish. The benches sit at a standard 470mm and are 280mm deep, and the table top clears the ground at 790mm, so it works with the seat and table heights people are already used to. It is a common choice for cafes, schools, parks and staff break areas as well as backyards, and it carries a nine month manufacturing warranty from the time of purchase.

Care and cleaning
Wash the timber down with warm soapy water and a soft brush, then rinse clean. Keep the surfaces clear of standing water and leaf litter, and check the fixings once a year. If you have sealed or stained the table, recoat when the finish starts to lift, which in full sun is usually every couple of seasons.
