Australian-made Outdoor Timber Picnic Table, 2400mm

Two and a half metres of table with bench seating fixed down both sides, which is the size you want when the whole group has to sit together. The 2400mm model is the largest in the range and the one that ends up in parks, school grounds, cafe courtyards and community halls, because it takes a crowd without needing a second table dragged alongside.

It is built in Australia from treated timber, with a 700mm wide top, benches at 470mm and a table height of 790mm, so it matches the smaller models in the range and you can run several together and have every surface line up. The timber is left ready to finish: seal or stain it to hold a colour and lengthen the life of the finish, or leave it bare and let it weather to a soft grey. It carries a nine month manufacturing warranty from the time of purchase.

Care and cleaning

Wash the timber down with warm soapy water and a soft brush, then rinse clean. Keep the surfaces clear of standing water and leaf litter, and check the fixings once a year. If you have sealed or stained the table, recoat when the finish starts to lift, which in full sun is usually every couple of seasons.
